We are able to deliver your new louvered Pergola direct to home or site address. We provide roadside delivery, so it's important to have someone on site to help unloading on day of delivery.

Are louvered roofs waterproof - Yes, when closed rainwater is divered through channels into integrated downpipes located in your chosen support post


Do louvered roofs need to be serviced? - Our powdercoated Pergola roof and frames require miniumum maintenance. Just a wipe down with a soft cloth and mild detergent now and again will keep it looking its best for years to come.


Ho much wind will louvred roofs withstand? - Our roofs are tested to Beaufort 12, or 70 + mph which is storm wind speeds making them extremely safe and secure all year around.


What guarantee comes with our Pergola? - Framework, motors, installation louvres and workmanship is covered for 5 years. LED lighting and heaters are covered for 1 year.


Where does the water go from your louvered Pergola roof? - When closed the louvres have a small slope diverting the water to intergated channels and on to concealed downpipes located in the upright posts. The outlets can de positioned to drain into a gravel soak away under decking or diverted into existing property drainage (subject to location).


Do I need planning for my new Pergola? - As a general rule from the 1st October 2008, garden structures (including pergolas) do not require planning permission as long as the following points are followed:-


No structure forward of the principle elevation fronting a highway.


Must be single storey with a maximum eaves height of 2.5mtrs and a total height of less than or equal to 4mtrs for a pitched roof or 3mtrs for any other type of roof.


Within 2mtrs of a boundary the maximum height cannot exceed 2.5mtrs.


Garden structures must have no verandas, balconies or raised platforms.


Where no more than 50% of the existing land around the ‘original house’ is already covered by garden buildings.


Within the curtilage of a listed building planning permission must be sought.

In Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, National Parks, World Heritage Sites, the maximum area to be covered by an outdoor structure, more than 20mtrs from the original house, must be limited to an area not exceeding 10sq mtrs. However, any buildings at the side of the property, within these nominated areas, will require planning permission.
