We replaced a small existing timber conservatory in Sidmouth, Devon for a new white PVCu orangery conservatory. The new orangery required the existing base digging out, extending and dwarf walls and piers building to match those of the property.
A rated PVCu orangery frames were installed with an Ultraframe Livin room double-glazed conservatory roof. Saint Gobain SKN165 anti-sun glass was used in the conservatory roof to filter the direct sunlight, yet still retain warmth in the winter months.
To achieve that Orangery feel, brick piers were formed including a perimeter ceiling. The perimeter ceiling was plastered and down lighters installed to provide mood lighting. This project included plastering, electrics and new electric radiators.
The result was a complementary orangery designed and built to be used all year around...a fantastic place to relax.
